REVIEWS! THE NUNNERY-NUNS WITH GUNS(CD) Some changes in the lineup since the last time. Crippa(Troublemakers and pre-Attentat) and H-son(pre Sune Studs and Troublemakers) have come into the band. Modig from P-Nissarna is also in the band….Veronica sings really good and it feels really strong. A little bit punky and you can hear really fast that it is influences both from Stooges and from Stones, correct me if I´m wrong. A gig with the group must be really intensive because they have a really tight sound. Lyrically I don´t really know what to say but the songtitles says a lot or what to say Ice-cream tease, I´m not a lollipop, Lipstick Dick and so on but musically this is really cool.(SIX) 22/11-05 <-BACK |

REVIEWS! NUNNERY-ICE CREAM TEASE(CD) This group have Tomas with Speedfreaks/P-Nissarna och his girlfriend on vocals and some DD. Really distorted is this and I got an odd feeling of Cramps in some odd way. I think it depends on the songtitles and they could be taken from some of their records as their songs Lipstick Dick, Sugarholic and so on. Continue this and I think that this could be really good. In Lipstick Dick they almost sounds like an early DAD-song sometimes and it´s really cool, in different ways. This is punk in high class and with better sound so…..(SEVEN) 7/10-04 <-BACK |
